To Sail or Not To Be 
A friend, who owns the original double ended portabot , and has used it as a full time liveaboard at anchor, for decades, is much happier with it than those with the transom version. Too bad they don’t make that version any more.

We really like ours, but the fasteners and hinges aren’t up to the use we give it. I can see slowly replacing all of them. Some started failing after it was only three months old.
